  1. at what level do you try to keep the feed/ water at in the bucket . Also when you put new feed in do you top up to 1 inch below bucket or about half the bucket .. cheers

  2. Im so confused some explain to me like I’m 5. So I just changed my 20gal res, ph 6, ppm 670 now this morning after 2 waterings the ppms dropped down to 570. They’re autos so the low feeding is fine. They have about a month left u til harvest

Should I add water? Then check ppms then add nutrients or add a nutrient mix with all nutes at 1/3 dose?

  3. I have a question, I have a closed system sort of. I saw the nutrients sitting on the bottom of my bucket and I freaked so I got a pump and a chiller that I set to 66F, how often should I change out my nutrients or do I have a little bit longer life of the microbes because of the chiller ??

  4. I have not grown Hydro so I don’t actually know but it seems to me like topping off your water reservoir is asking for trouble. Changing it out would be the way to go…

  5. Is there a way to keep plant water fresh by using a fish tank filter/aerator so you don’t have to change the water as often?

  6. I love your hemp in a jar series and even in this video. Thanks man I now have a Gary Payton clone in a jar now growing roots and getting ready to flower in it’s jar

  7. You said a 1/3 to 1/2 solution. When I start my seeds I use 1/4 strength and when they are growing I use 1/2 strength. Does that make sense?

  8. You should also look into air hoses that are not clear as those will also let light into your root zone. Happy growing!!!😀😀 love the content bro

  9. So when you say nutrient water you just mean the water the roots are in if im understanding correctly cause I’ve seen a few videos from other people where they have the nutrient solution in a separate container or that’s what it seemed like from the way they talked

  10. Good explanation!
Dont know if you got a new setup now, but you can get a pump for 5 bucks, attach a hose to it and then you can easily pump the water from one bucket to the other without lifting the plants. 🙂

  11. I’ve done 7 grows and 6 of them I didn’t change the nutrients reservoir out once. From baby to harvest I only ever too up what’s already there. I have noticed no negative effect. Set up is dripper hydro system with 45 litre reservoir. Canna aqua nutrients.

  12. Great video as pretty much always. Hydro seems like a lot more work and worry than growing in living soil like I do. Anyone interested in supporting a charity that is buying people their personal cannabis grow license?
