#acinfinity #vivosun #marshydro
Did you know you can install an Ac infinity, Vivosun or mars hydro inline fan in your grow tent setup OUTSIDE your tent?? This video will show you how with step by step instructions on how. With this setup, you will save space allowing more room for plants and also be able to raise your lights all the way to the top. It’s actually much easier then hanging.

Can anyone confirm this works with the smell aswell
Great video. I likewise run my inline system outside my tent. Only question is why are you putting the carbon filter pad inside vs having it outside? Seems to me like it wouldn’t really matter?
How about when it comes to flowering and bloom when it starts to smell will I keep the exit whole on the bottom open ? If I have my inline fan outside the tent and if so won’t the smell of weed just exit through the bottom before it gets sucked out the top and into the in-line fan ?
Im wondering the whole time where the air from the filter goes ? does it have to go in to a diffrent room or outside or is it fine if it just goes outside of the tent ?
So if my room is 74F and I want my tent temp to be at 70-73F; I put the hose on the bottom right? Just making sure
Thanks for the info!
I would’ve never thought to put the pre filter inside the carbon filter 🤦🏽♂️
thanks for your tips again. i have one question: Why is it important to remove the dust-filter outside and put it in the inside ?
Yea just received my gorilla 5×5 shorty im trying this instead of hanging inside… thanks for the tips!!
why did you put the cloth 0n the inside
Probably shouldn’t leave the intake hole open without something to block light.
Would consider humidity conditions too
my tent is steadily holding at 70 and i have a opening on the left side near the top and a opening on the bottom which hole should i put my ducking? i do have a hole on top but its on the opposite side
having a vent open would bring in outdoor light and hermie your plants bro lol
Mine says to never reverse mount my filter. Apparently it reduces the life of the carbon?? What does this mean?? Or is this what you’re doing in this video?
Thank you this really helped hooked mine up yesterday with your video
Cheers 🍻
Nice video I have the same ac infinity setup and like that I can move it around.
Interesting 🤔
Thank you. This will help sooooo much.
What do we go if the vent takes in to much air and literally compresses the tent in.
🤓🧠🤓🧠🤓🧠
🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼
Appreciate the filter cloth inside tip
Thanks man this really helped me out ❤
Won’t having that opening make it easier for bugs to get in?
Had mine set up like this but it was reaching 85+ any tips?
I just went crazy in a 2x2x48 trying to fit it all inside. Your video eased my troubles lol. Thanks bro!
What if you don’t have a hole at the bottom?
What should I use for heat in my 2×2
My understanding of this is that air is being pulled from outside of the tent through the bottom, then sucked out through the top and through the filter. I am currently using this set-up. My tent is 24x24x55. I don’t have a hole at the bottom, but I have a screen window which I have left uncovered. It is getting pretty toasty this time of the year. Not only is it allowing some air exchange and stopping smell, it is also sucking out heat. My tent is in the closet and right now it is the coolest part in my home lol. Thanks for the set up info, works for me!
I have a Vivosun 2x2x4 tent and need it for a cold tent grow but don’t have any holes at the bottom any suggestions
I’m a bit confused for the fan outside the tent, If you open a vent top or bottom, you will have a source of light going inside the tent ? How do you block the light to get in ?
I just purchased a 4x4x6 Vivosun grow tent, circulation fan, grow hub controller, and exhaust fan. I already owned two Vivosun 200W Aerowave wing lights. Set it up this exact way with the exhaust fan outside the tent. It’s awesome bro. Set the exhaust fan to kick on at 82 degrees or 65% RH. Keeping the exhaust fan outside the tent gives all that extra room for flowers to spread out and flourish.
I prefer the gorilla grow filter and gorilla grow tents there more expensive but you pay for what Ypu get they are nice and there the only tent that has height extensions so it can go taller
This is the same how I did mine. I was really worried before seeing this. Right now my grow room itself sits naturally at the optimal temp during the day. That makes me kinda tempted to leave the tent open. Should I? With the space I have exausht fan method isnt gonna work.
What if I don’t have a bottom vent? I have a 2x2x53 Mars hydro tent. Should I leave the door zipper open on the bottom?
Thank you
Hey, appreciate your content thank you, do you have a AC affiliate code ? So I can give you the referral credit
Trying to show support and appreciate
Wouldnt it still smell then? , since one of the vents are open?
Why did you put the fabric inside the filter?
Looks dope but need to seal it better. This is air we are talking about, not pebbles hahah throw some HVAC clamps in and looks 💯 Can’t argue against sealing a carbon filter when 99% of users are using it for the smell. That’s letting air escape for sure without a clamp, and smell along with it
Thanks for sharing. Much appreciated.
I tried this with my 4×4 tent. I have a 4 in ch fan with a carbon filter can’t seem to get temps down
I wanna do this . Mine my is to cold for example, but isn’t it recycling used air
This means i don’t have to hire someone to run the vent through the wall. Thanks bro.
WOW! Just awesome. Quick to the point with examples. Your hot or cold tent advice was new to me. Thank you!
Chee this helped thanks so much!!
