Make A Mini Hydroponics System On A Budget – Grow Perfect Plants EVERY Time!
Today on Grow It I’m making a DIY hydroponics system that’s cheap to make and the best part is that you can take it anywhere.
You can grow hydroponic lettuces, hydroponic tomatoes, hydroponic strawberries, anything!
This system uses a USB rechargeable oxygenating pump, to make sure that the water stays loaded with oxygen to not only speed up, but also increase the yield of your hydroponic crops.

nice one Barry
dont know if i missed it but how long did that battery air pump last u between charges?
Hello, how much water is in? I mean, how high is the water level on the cup with rocks? should it only be touching the water or completely submerged? Thank you
Excellent video. Love your friendly approach and informative content. I’m inspired to give it a go!
Amazing idea 💡
How do I know how high to fill the water to?
Hi and thx u much! Just want a windowsill plant. Your awesome!
Mannn!! Thank you so much 🙏🏽 I definitely found a hobby I love🥰 I’m grateful
hey can you make a small one that is smaller than this? I need one for my school project
Amazing 🎉.
What acid did you use to reduce the pH?

Would you find it better for future boxes to use an opaque color to avoid the hydrogen peroxide treatments? Are you fighting any algae growth now the the hydrogen peroxide has subsided? Thank you for sharing. Love the video.
Thank you! Good info!
Awesome video thanks for the info
0:04 I LOVE that you kept the ‘ice cream’ van jangling away in the back ground & didn’t do another take! Thank you for uploading your knowledge for us noobs 🤗 🪴
I’ll have to give this a go, it looks easy peasy 🤓
if you dont have all the materials for it . what should you do.
When you have your rockwool-sprouted starters in the slotted pots, (without any roots showing), do you water them from the top? Or is the water underneath enough for them to receive nutrients? Does the water in the tub come into contact with the 3" slotted pots?
Any tips for doing this with strawberries and herbs? Trying to plan a fun activity for highschoolers.
Holy crap! You’re the Brit version of Iraqveteran8888
Another cool idea, l’m lovin it
Glad to have found you! Very helpful. I was given a bottle hydroponics kit & lettuce started off well but then went weird, didn’t say to let water drop so only roots were in it plus no oxygen circulation but may well just try something similar to your system here. Am following for my tips 😊
Clear and simple!
I am looking to grow alpine strawberries in a hydroponics system. The thing is I have seen people do it and they get root rot at times. Is root rot a simple fix or does it need extra to avoid it?
I can’t wait to start thank you so much 😊
Thanks for this, i am just getting started and really looking forward to setup my first home mini garden. Q: I see in other videos where water is circulated in pipes, wonder in this setup how often you need to replace the water.
Good stuff, especially with the PTB wanting to knee cap our farmers.
Just a question. Since its a clear container, wont it have an algae issue?
Edit: Ah hydrogen peroxide. gotcha
How much hydrogen peroxide do you use per litre?
Would love to see updates and more info on hydroponics so hope you keep doing it 😊
