Harvesting our hydroponic produce for the farm market. Tips and tricks that might help you be more successful at the market or just some ideas of what can be grown in a NFT hydroponic system.
I was just chatting with Johnny’s seeds. They no longer offer the Dwarf chard varieties. Are you getting it elsewhere?

I wish only one thing from you. Those plastic bags you put the greens in are so bad for the environment, worse than the other bags used. I wish there was a better way. Maybe you could also sell re-useable, washable bags at the market..
What do you do with the mature plants that you didn’t harvest?
I want to work with you.
Thanks!
Farm work never stops no matter how many take vacation. Great job.

I’ll have to try some dandelion greens. Asiago cheese — yes please! Your farmer’s market has a very nice setting. Been wondering how your hot peppers are doing?
Great tip on labeling the harvest date on the plant tag! Also the collard green wrapping! Thank you!
I just received my CropKing order – I’m ready to do this – thank you for your instructional and motivational videos – I’m building 4 foot troughs on a rolling wire shelf unit – the journey forward is GREEN
Have you though about leaving a bit of water in the bottom of the bag keep the greens and lettuce firm and hydrated throughout the day when selling at the farm market? Would that work.
Beautiful setting for a market. For some reason most farmers markets I have attended seem to be in parking lots. I think my wife and I will have to check your market out even if its a bit of a drive from Lancaster. All the best to you and yours.
Those dandelion greens are gorgeous..!
How much do you sell the Swiss Chard for at the farmers market?
It is so true. After doing things repetitively you just know.
I love to cook and bake and I often just pour spices/ salt etc into my hand to measure. Had my family call me on it so we went and got the spoons
I measured 4 different things in my hand and how much I said it was and put in little ramekins the kiddos took the spoons and checked my work. Spot on. They just couldn’t figure it out lol. To them it was like magic.🤣🥰 i love their little active minds 😍
It would be nice to have the opportunity to purcha$e your recipes, and serving suggestions – the SEED to FORK pathway; growing suggestions, recipe combinations, + culinary ideas
great update , is everything sold buy the bunch or by the lb ? 🙂
Well, what I will keep in mind about that video is the excessive usage of plastic bags. Might be convenient but not eco-friendly. Most of them will end up in the ocean. Would be great if you could find an alternative for all this plastic. Beside of that I always enjoy our videos!
Those dandelion greens……are those the same that grow in the yard? They look really big compared to the yard ones. Also if they are the same, how do you keep them from flowering ?
Hi. Its very informative watchin your videos. I just wanted to know if all of that produce gets sold out there and what do you do in case something goes unsold in bulk?
What happened to your daughter, why is she not in the videos anymore
Plastic bag for packing Vegetables are not Sustainable & not good for the Environment, specially we are Experiencing Climate Change-Global Warming Nowadays, Instead try to used Newspaper for Wrapping Vegetables or Paper Bag for packing fresh produce in your Wonderful Farm. 👶🌱🐣 #SaveHumanitySaveEarthSaveTheWorld. 💯%🙏🌎🌏🌍✌
I see some cooking segments at some time in the future. Thank you for sharing.
All those greens look so good it’s making me hungry !
"It will last up to two weeks in the refrigerator." No, it won’t, it’ll be crumbs long before hitting the one week mark. Bok choy is the best crunchy green thing ever grown.
my costumers are family and my rabbit and chickens ,so if there not soft they dont care
