  1. Hello sir…. thanks you for this wonderful class. I want to see more of it again with well explained processes. Am Crop science student from university of Agriculture on Nigeria Thank you so much

  2. Kindly share me your email id- I am a researcher, I am interested in this field. Please help me to frame my objectives

  3. I’m learning so much. Thank you. I’ll be telling others in community gardening channels about your video. Some of us need all the help we can get. Do you have a published booklet? We don’t do hydroponics. This video will apply to all plants.

  4. Also dont be scared to use praying mantis’s they are a great biological defense they are a carnivorous insect that dont ruin your crop only eat bad bugs. A tip from a master grower most people put an egg of a praying mantis at thr bottom not touching the crop. when they hatch you get three praying mantis defenders and they are cool to look at ๐Ÿ˜Ž

  5. Thank you for this tutorial. I am the collector of rare Aroids and I keep the bulk of my collection in semi-hydro conditions with LECA or Pon. Many of my plants only have limited information available on care other than "epiphytic, high humidity" so it’s often a guessing game as to how to make them happy in their new medium.

  6. Have you tired biological pest control. Ie parasitic wasps for apids? In a large scale commercial setting I’ve seen this work effectively

  7. Very informative video that is helpful to newbies like us! Liked & subscribed.

As I have a microscope & some science background, I would love to see how to use a microscope to clearly identify plant diseases & nutrient deficiencies. Decent microscopes are no longer very expensive, and extreme closeup visual identification aught to be very, very helpful.

P.S. I am expecting global warming & climate zone changes to become very disruptive of all levels of gardening. Not to mention that the accidental spreading of invasive species due to globalization is also going to introduce new challenges. Having the tools & knowledge to quickly identify a new plant problem could make the difference between prompt remediation and total crop failure. Your in-depth scientific approach is on the right track – hope you’ll add microscopic examination & diagnostics into the mix.

P.P.S. I found a good intro to using a basic plant diagnostics lab here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tJ9SJnsVQxE
